Thanks again to everyone for coming out! Thanks to everyone at The Blue Room! And a very special thanks to Bellow Wing for making An Evening with Gib Strange such a success!

“Your show was great! Unique. Deep. Moving. Can’t think of anyone else doing anything like it. Keep it going! …Obviously your perverted humor is up my alley… And the deep observer that you are of human nature and the universe’s absurdities is why I connected with you to start.”

“I really like how you weave comedy, personal biography, and philosophy in some of the longer pieces… I especially admire how you don’t flinch from what’s difficult or taboo, and you keep everything very personal.”

“The fact that you come across as mellowly anxious, quiet-spoken and yet some of the jokes were pretty subversive and packed a whollop… especially paired with the piano and the seamlessness of that ‘conversation’ between the two of you. Jokes, then those wisdom-nuggets and then your stories. I could have listened to another hour. I hope you keep doing it.”

“Your call backs were perfect. You had a great balance with your humor and your pieces about your dad. I love it when writers/performers balance between language that hits the heart and things that tickle the funny bone… Your flash fiction reminds me of stoner thoughts. Nothing better than someone high pondering Bigfoot… I love it when you smile. Lights up the room. Laughing at yourself is perfection.”
